Breaking All The Rules

Well, travel rules.  And not all the rules, more like 1 of the rules.  Not that this is anyone’s rule but my own.  And it wasn’t really a hard and fast rule to begin with.  [The things I go through to get a cool title…]

I was in Frankfurt for 3 days and I ate at a place twice.  I know, I know, how dare I?!  With a city the size of Frankfurt surely there was another place that I could have eaten at.  I mean, shouldn’t I be trying ALL the food?  Yeah, but this place was… really damn good.

My sister and I had 2 meals at this restaurant and they were amazing.  The place was close to our hotel and had outside seating for days with nice weather.  Besides, the menu had more than 2 things on it, so of course we had to go back and try more stuff.

It was called Coa, and it was delicious.  And priced reasonably.

We started with an appetizer platter with 3 different dips.  There was a salad roll, chicken skewers, vegetable rolls, and deep fried prawns.

As usual we started eating before we thought to take a picture.

Then we moved on to an avocado and mango salad that I have dreams about it was so good, and some steamed dumplings.

Nom nom nom!
Nom nom nom!

For dessert we had a chocolate brownie and coconut rice pudding with mango.  I could demolish another one just thinking about it.

I'm amazed I stopped eating long enough to take a picture.

We didn’t take any pictures the second time we were there, because we were no doubt too busy eating.  This place was not only delicious, but also healthy – so you didn’t feel guilty about ordering a lot.

As for breaking my rule – I’m honestly more disappointed that I didn’t go back a third time.
