New York In The Night

The best part about getting a hotel close to Times Square is that I could walk around at night.  Granted, in January it becomes night much earlier than in June – but New York at night is a very picturesque city:

Tree-lights?
Tree-lights?

Imagine those trees all along the street.  At night it’s really beautiful.

They also dress up the trees around Rockefeller Centre:

Tree-lights and the flags of the world.
Tree-lights and the flags of the world.

I really wanted to go ice skating at Rockefeller Centre, but decided against it due to lack of skating-experience:

I still have to do this some day.
I still have to do this some day.

Just imagine a skating pile-up.  That would be me.

Oh, and I saw Atlas!  He was no longer having work done:

Still hanging in there.
Still hanging in there.

The buildings are all lit up at night:

That's a big clock.
That’s a big clock.
Oh Chrystler Building.
Oh Chrystler Building.

And the entire city somehow feels so… alive.
