Random Road Trip: Peggy’s Cove

Who can go on a road trip around Halifax without visiting the famous Peggy’s Cove?  Not us, certainly.  And not all the other people out and about at the Cove.

Peggy’s Cove has great views of the water:

Don't let the picture fool you - it was really cold outside.

It also has great warning signs:

Danger!
Danger!
Warning!
Warning!

And you can also take really fun “tourist-style” photos of the lighthouse:

"I'll just put this here..."
“I’ll just put this here…”
"It's not heavy at all!"
“It’s not heavy at all!”
"Bet you I can lift this over my head!"
“Bet you I can lift this over my head!”

Just don’t go on the dangerous black rocks:

I'll bet that water was freezing.
I’ll bet that water was freezing.

It was a busy day and we were soon tired:

But all in all, it was a damn fine spontaneous road-trip:

I'm king of the world!
