When I asked my friends what I should see in Toronto a lot of them suggested that I visit the Art Gallery of Ontario. I was more interested in the ROM, but then I visited the AGO website and realized that it also has an interesting design.
I ended up going to the AGO first because it was on my way to the Distillery District. I also decided to shell out the extra money to see their special exhibit – Francis Bacon and Henry Moore: Terror and Beauty. I’m really glad I did that, because it was a great exhibit.
I didn’t take many pictures of the art, but I did take pictures while climbing up the giant spiral staircases. I even made it to the top, just to get pictures of the city below.

The AGO’s interior architecture is quite good, especially the use of soaring and curved wood elements. Nice shots!
