Last Night In Toronto

My last night in Toronto was also the last night of NXNE.  No doubt everyone was spending the day trying to see as much as possible before the festival ended and they all had to return to their normal lives.  I took in a comedy show at the Rivoli (where my friend works).  The crowd was bit small at first and it took some time for us to all warm up, but by the end my stomach was aching from laughter.

The show ended, the back bar closed down, and the two of us plus a friend of my friend (she has really awesome friends, by the way) went looking for a place to wind down.

I don’t remember the name of the bar, but I know that it was perfect.

Not only was it open after 1am, but it wasn’t crowded, the music wasn’t too loud, and the staff were just fantastic.  We sat, we drank, we told stories, we laughed, we talked, we enjoyed ourselves…

A perfect end to a wonderful trip.
